Bananas Fun Park in Grand Junction, CO is the perfect place to treat your kids to a fun time if you are on the western slope. Often times, places like Bananas can get very expensive however, if you take advantage of their specials you can get more for your money! Bananas is a kids dream. They have go karts, laser tag, arcade games, Bump-N-Jumps, bumper boats, mini golf, and coming June 2017 they will have a new water attraction, Coconut Cove!
During the week, Bananas has a great deal for preschool aged children. From 9am-11am they can play in the Bump-N-Jumps for just $5 per child. And it’s almost never crowded, unless school is out or there is a field trip.
Collin’s favorite one to jump in is the “monkeys in the barrel” inflatable. He likes to run in circles and bounce off the sides. He runs off a lot of energy at Bananas Fun Park. The $5 deal is worth it!
Though it may not look like it, Morgan is actually having fun. They do have one inflatable for the littles! No big kids allowed. She can crawl around or under objects and go down the small slide.
Collin and grandpa sliding down the big wave slide. They got going pretty fast! We have always been very impressed with how clean Bananas Fun Park is. We see staff cleaning each time we go. Your socks aren’t black on the bottoms when you leave! (Now that says something!) The staff always seem to be friendly and helpful as well. The owners clearly take pride in their establishment and it shows.
Air hockey! Can you see the focus on Collin’s face? I wonder who is winning….
There are a few arcade games inside the area with the Bump-N-Jumps. There are a lot more in the main building. They had a few games that cater to younger children. We have only played a few arcade games and Collin had a lot of fun since they were age appropriate. We haven’t been able to do any of the other activities yet. I know Collin has had his eyes on the go karts.
Next time you are looking for family fun on the western slope make a stop at Bananas Fun Park and help support this local business! You won’t be disappointed. (And your kids should be worn out after!) Have fun!
